Tours leave from the Administration Building at 1pm Tuesday-Friday during our Regular Tour Season, which is May through September. Reservations are preferred, but not required. Please contact the MCHS office to schedule a group tour OR a special tour time.

Chert Quarry Tours
The Grand Meadow Chert Quarry/Wanhi Yukan Trail is open for self-guided walking tours daily from dawn to dusk, Spring-Fall, weather permitting.
Guided tours and classroom visits are available by calling the MCHS office 507-437-6082. All guided tours must be scheduled in advance and require at least a 2 week notice. Please call to discuss rates for guided tours.
