Join us on the fourth Thursday of each month in the Pioneer Building for our very popular Lunchbox History Series. Each month will feature a different presentation of some interesting historical subjects, brought by some excellent speakers. Bring your lunch and bring a friend!

Join MCHS and the Mower County Ag Society as we celebrate Mower County’s Fair.  Activities will take place all over the historical society grounds.  Come see the Antique Tractor Show as well! MCHS Buildings will be open during fair week Tuesday-Saturday from 12 Noon-8pm, and from 1pm-5pm on Sunday.

11am-3pm

Spend an afternoon at MCHS and witness a harvest celebration that is enjoyed by all!  Watch volunteer demonstrations, enjoy live musical entertainment, and great activities for the kids.  Shop the Annual Bake and Produce Sale. Food Stand available. Fun for theWhole Family!

 

 

3-6pm

Want to buy your baked goodies before everyone else? Come shop the selection in the Administration Building the day before the Christmas in the County event begins.

 

11am-3pm

Bring out the family for a fun filled afternoon and evening! Join us for a sleigh ride, holiday crafts, silent auction, homemade chili, lights display, and of course, Santa! You can purchase more baked goods until it runs out and even blow the whistle on the 1004 locomotive. Christmas in the County at MCHS is always a crowd pleaser!
